In 2009 I wrote a 1 page script and made it into a short film - Reported Missing, accepted into competition at the Tres Courts film festival.
My first short film, Maneater, was shown at Film Festivals at the Watershed in Bristol and London’s Riverside Studios.
I then co-wrote a visual theatre piece, The Seven Pillows of Wisdom, with Bob Pearce, and toured it through the UK. A sitcom script, Jessica and Tom, co-written with Marian Pashley, was optioned by BBC TV.
Meanwhile, as well as writing my own stand-up comedy material, I started writing topical gags and sketches for programmes like BBC Radio 2’s News Huddlines.
With Linda Cotterill I wrote No Future in Eternity, a comedy that went to the Edinburgh Fringe and was broadcast on BBC Radio 4. Linda and I have now written a feature film with support from the UK Film Council and Screen South, and several television comedy scripts. We have a couple of short films in pre-production and one being submitted to festivals.
I also write scripts for interactive exhibits. You can hear my work at the Bank of England Museum.
